What's New - December 2007

31-Dec-2007

Times flies when you're having fun or . . . rum as one ad is quick to point out. In any case, somehow we're almost at the end of 2007. Just a scant ten months ago, Murder Off the Books was published. Wow! For authors, we really need to find a better word to describe our giddy delight over all that has happened this year - but for now, WOW, seems to sum it up perfectly.

We're not resting on our laurels, so to speak. On December 10, at 7:30 pm, the Northern half is speaking at Englewood Public Library, New Jersey, where murder, mayhem, and chocolate have been heavily advertised. On December 14, at noon, the Northern half will be part of the annual book and author luncheon of the Woman's Club of Larchmont, New York. The Southern half is also keeping busy. On Saturday, December 8, at 2 pm, she's traveling to Fayetteville, Arkansas to sign books at the B. Dalton in the NW Arkansas Mall. On December 15, at 2 pm, you can catch her at the 41st street Barnes and Noble bookstore in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Check out our 2008 schedule and please stop by if you are in the area.

This month's winner of a Whiskey coffee mug is Jennifer W. of Poland, Indiana. Please encourage family and friends to subscribe and be eligible for our monthly prize drawing. We'll also be running a contest for an autographed copy, fresh off the presses, of our sequel, Murder Takes the Cake. The manuscript is due at the end of January, with publication set for June, 2008. Stay tuned here for more details!
